potlucc came to be after I grew tired of other group signup websites (one especially in particular). I found that they were difficult to use, put basic functions behind paywalls, required a lot of personal information, and then hit my email with loads of ads. Not cool, guys.

potlucc aims to be different! Here you’ll find the simplicity of a piece of paper combined with the reach of the internet. No hidden ads, no malicious data usage, no paywalls—just a tool my grandma enjoys using.

And the name? Well, a “potluck” is a meal where everyone brings something to the table, and that’s the friendliest kind of meal out there. I wanted to help my friends have more of those meals, more often.
